・Determining the required materials and generating purchase orders.
・Ensuring materials meet specifications, quality standards, and are cost-efficient.
・Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production.
・Coordinating with other departments regarding production goals and timelines
・Tracking production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns and purchasing trends and producing variance analysis from time to time
・Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products.
・Managing inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.
・Preparing cost estimates and performance reports.
・Coordinate incoming and outgoing inventory deliveries
・Allocate and organize storage locations according to requirements
・Sort inventory according to established procedures & mark inventory with identifying information
・Update and maintain storage database, track and manage inventory by completing regular cycle counts & maintain inventory records.
・Identify potential inventory shortages and communicate with relevant department
・Provide regular inventory reports to management

・ Degree in engineering or other relevant field
・ 2-3 years of experience as Materials planner
・ Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
・ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
・ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
・ Knowledge of material requirements planning and related software.
