「CLOSED」Safety Executive – Perai (Ref ID: 12445)

・Ensure all legal and inspections requirements by DOSH, DOE and BOMBA are met and completed within the plan for the company.
・To maintain, enforce & improve safety related matters with respect to the Department of Occupational Safety & Health Malaysia requirements.
・To promote, establish and implement the Health and Safety procedures and awareness among the workforce and facilitate the safety & health committee meeting.
・Identify, investigate, and report on root causes for incidents & accidents and conduct risk assessment and facilitate training for workers with respect towards all safety issues.
・To conduct safety inspection in all workplaces including the emergency equipment such as firefighting equipment & first aid facilities.
・To collect, analyse and maintain statistics on any accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning/disease which have occurred at the workplace.
・To conduct safety and health induction, assist safety briefing or on Job Training at production floor.
・Conduct regular inspections and audits on the safety provision.
・To lead and coordinate ERT or First Aid team during emergency.
・To control and manage personal protective equipment and first aid items.
・Provide support for ad-hoc assignments/duties that may be directed or assigned by the manager from time to time.

・Degree in occupational safety and health or engineering field.

・3-5 years of experience in a safety, health, and environment in manufacturing field.
・Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Words and PowerPoint)
・Demonstrate fluency in Bahasa Melayu and English, both written and spoken.
・Experience in audit (as this person will become the representative for safety audit during audit time)
・Well versed with the occupational Safety, Health and Environment protocols and the ability to communicate well with government departments and other agencies.
