・Preliminary and actual management of production plans and labour management.
・Reporting on production plans, plan revision and trouble shooting
・Analysis and reporting of production data, reporting and implementation of improvement activities.
・Handling quality issues and negotiating with other departments.
・Focus on details and able to judge material and product quality.
・Manage own department’s budget and able to negotiate with vendors.
・ISO compliant management of own department such as production records, maintenance, safety, training, etc.
・Ensure that all workings are manufactured in a correct, cost effective and timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirements.
・Prepare and submit monthly, weekly, and various reports for own department.
・Manage personnel on a daily basis, conduct recruitment and plan training.
・Follow up on subordinates to ensure smooth execution of work.
・Promote smooth cooperation with the relevant departments.
・Provide support for ad-hoc assignments/duties that may be directed or assigned by the Management from time to time.

・Degree in any Engineering field.

・5 years of experience in a management position in production, preferable from a Japanese-owned production plant or similar.
・Able to communicate well in Japanese (JLPT N2 & above) & English
・Proficiency in computer and Microsoft Excel
・Ability to manage the reporting timeline and the submission deadline.
・ISO 9001: 2015 knowledge
