「CLOSED」HOD Forwarding – PJ (Ref ID: 12315)

・ To monitor and manage the operation team in handling the daily air freight, ocean freight, cross border trucking and domestic distribution matter.
・ To standardize and continuously improve the operation’s KPI, Quality, Productivity and Safety matters.
・ To plan, execute and be responsible on freight management matters such as construction and implementation of carrier strategy, consolidation, packaging and cargo handling, customs clearance, bonded cargoes, documentation, transportation and delivery arrangement.
・ To build and maintain strong relationships with key airline, shipping line, transporter, hauliers, suppliers and vendors
・ Review and select airline, shipping line, transporter, haulier, suppliers and vendor to ensure their service level is on par with customer’s expectation.
・ Review the impact of logistics changes such as trade lane, shipping modes, product volumes or carriers and make accurate decision to ensure such changes does not bring negative effect to the customer.
・ To guide and train the customer service team, so they can maintain high quality service level to retain the current customer.
・ To build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and ensure all their operational needs are met and concerns are addressed promptly.
・ To identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.
・ To prepare annual operation budget and work with relevant department to ensure company P&L target is achieved.
・ To monitor and ensure the billing is done accurately and timely.
・ To prepare ad-hoc, weekly and monthly reports / forecast with deep analysis for the management team.
・ To communicate with other oversea Company group members in developing global logistic network and solutions for clients.

・ SPM and above in any equivalent
・ Minimum 10-15 years of experience in freight forwarding operation
・ Managerial experience minimum 3-5 years.
・ Freight Forwarding knowledge (Exports &Imports) for air, ocean, cross border truck and domestic trucking.
・ Confident communicator with the ability to lead and manage teams
・ Customs knowledge
